Over the past seven months of the Covid-19 crisis, we have experienced a dramatic up-tick in the amount of maintenance issues reported by our tenants. This went hand-in-hand with the challenge of having staff working flexible hours from home for most of this period.
It soon became apparent that I needed to re-visit our current maintenance protocols to see if there was a more efficient way to deal with reported issues and planned maintenance, whilst not losing sight of the need to continue providing our landlords and tenants with the same levels of service they have come to expect from Haydn Jacks..
After much research, I settled on the software provided by FixFlo and it went live in the middle of this month. We have taken advantage of their expertise in transitioning from one system to another, data transfer, staff training and also tenant and landlord promotion. The change has been seamless and after only one week since going live, we are already receiving amazing feedback from those tenants and landlords who have had reason to engage with the system.
